Lilian Michel is a creature designer and concept artist from Jasper, Tennessee. Since she was young, Lilian harbored a deep, innate desire to create. She would draw on whatever she could get her hands on; doodling on the corners of every homework assignment and scribbling endlessly on restaurant napkins. This drive only got stronger as time went on, and with the help of her mentor, Margaret Tucker, Lilian was accepted into Chattanooga High Center for Creative Arts where she majored in visual arts. Lilian would go on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Animation at Middle Tennessee State University.

Lilian is currently a part of the six-person development team for "Train of Thought." She is primarily responsible for rough animation, clean up, and marketing materials. Prior to this film, Lilian was involved with “All One” (2024), responsible for the rough animation of one shot and clean-up for two other shots.

 

Outside of University, Lilian spends time working and volunteering at Arts in the Burg, an art center based in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Here, Lilian has taught classes, organized events, and made promotional material. Beyond her specialty in design and concept art, Lilian has experience in character animation and digital marketing, where she is responsible for creating branding materials such as logos and advertisements.
